Upper Control Arms

The upper control arm connects to the frame at two points that both use bushings. On the other end is a single point with a ball joint that connects to the upper part of the front spindle. This allows the spindle to rotate but also keeps it from moving in a left/right direction. A bent control arm can completely throw off the suspension geometry in the front end. Each piece of the suspension is designed to function together so one damaged part can impact how the other parts of the suspension work. When the bushing in a control arm go bad, often its easier and more cost effective to replace the entire arm. We sell a large variety of used upper control arms that can save you hundreds over a new part. Check out our store for a used control arm that fits your car.
