Blower Motor

The blower motor in your car is responsible for blowing hot or cold air throughout the interior to regulate the interior temperature. The blower motor is an electrical motor with a cage like fan attached to it. The fan is often referred to as the squirrel cage by mechanics. When your fan stops working you should always check the fuses first. If all the fuses are good and the temp control appears to function then the next place to look should be the blower motor and blower motor resistor.

Blower motors are usually pretty easy to change. Their located either under the dash in mounted to the air box, or under the hood mounted on the firewall. A handful of screws hold the motor in place along with a wiring harness used to control and power the blower motor. Shop our online store for a wide selection of quality Used Blower motors.
